Your guests may be shaded for the ceremony depending on your location, which is amazing in summer. In the wintertime, blankets might be welcome.
2. Take advantage of the helipad in golden hour with a mini portrait session. Or after the sunset. or before it. The light changes so much depending on time of day.
3. You get KILLER views of the vast sky if your photographer happens to be crouching on the floor like a wildlife photog. Don’t be afraid to request some different angles at this special spot.
4. Nina and Cole had a first look and a lil practice dance with their reception set up, and I’ll never not recommend that
5. The place is photogenic, but good light is found near the elevators, in abandoned ballrooms, wherever you’re willing to chase the light…
6. if you have a second shooter, they can dangerously perch on the spiral staircase while you’re kissing. Full insurance, guys, full insurance.
7. Try to schedule your reception set up to be ready before golden hour (~30 minutes before sunset). This could vary from 5:30pm in december to 8pm in July. But i mean, just look at it.
